Still need gift giving ideas?

December 8th, 2006

If you are still looking for gift ideas for Christmas for your husband, wife, teenager or even your co-workers, but are not sure where to begin, don’t worry there is still time. 1giftguide.com has some great tips to get you started in the right direction, especially their Christmas Gift Guide for the Office. It’s a great start to help you avoid pitfalls in giving gifts at the workplace, such as limiting your spending unless the co-worker is a good personal friend because giving a very expensive gift might cause the person be to be uncomfortable with such an extravagant gift, but don’t buy at the dollar store either as they might feel offended with such a cheap gift. Another great tip is to not overstep your bounds in regards to giving very personal gifts when you are not very close to that person, it could lead to another uncomfortable and embarassing situation.

The other guides have great tips too, suggesting to give quality, not quantity. Make those special 2 or 3 gifts really count, even in presentation is important, instead of handing that special person 10 meaningless trinkets. You can never pamper a woman too much, bath & body gift baskets and gift certificates for salons and spas will be greatly appreciated by most women. And don’t forget your mother. Moms love personalized or sentimental gifts, especially family portraits and photo gifts.
